Surprised? I’m not; I’ve been telling job seekers for years to get on LinkedIn because that’s where they would be discovered. Well … now I actually have the proof to go with my advice! If you’re not on LinkedIn, then you’re missing out on the number-one place recruiters are using to look for you.
You also need to know that if you are on LinkedIn but your profile isn’t complete or optimized for keywords and SEO, then you’re making it hard to be discovered by hiring managers.
