Great Resumes Fast » Resume Writing Tips » Should I Add Additional Information to My Resume?

Yes! If you have a LinkedIn page or maintain an industry-related blog, by all means add those links to your resume. The more information you provide to employers regarding your professional life, the less work they’ll have to do in finding out for themselves.

And it is always a great idea to direct employers back to information about yourself that you have compiled. Twitter, a LinkedIn profile, and professional blog are good ways to cement your brand in the mind of the employer while providing them additional avenues to discover more information out about you as a potential candidate.

Also, don’t underestimate a Google profile and monitor your digital presence! Know how to get rid of digital dirt if you have any and make sure when you Google your name that the first few links that show up are really about you and are positive!

Jessica Hernandez, President, CEO & Founder of Great Resumes Fast

Hi, I’m Jessica. I started this company back in 2008 after more than a decade directing hiring practices at Fortune 500 companies.

What started as a side hustle (before that was even a word!) helping friends of friends with their resumes has now grown into a company that serves hundreds of happy clients a year. But the personal touch? I’ve kept that.

You might have seen me featured as a resume expert in publications like Forbes, Fast Company, and Fortune. And in 2020, I was honored to be named as a LinkedIn Top Voice of the year!

I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to help you find your next perfect-fit position!
