2017 is going to be a great year if you’re job searching or just open to new opportunities (passively looking). A recent survey reported as many as 74% of us are open to new opportunities should they arise this year. Job seeker optimism is the highest it has been in years (50%), unemployment is the lowest it has been in years (5%) as of the publication of this article and recruiters are predicting a talent shortage and expecting to have to compete for YOU. In fact, they’re so convinced they’re going to have to be more competitive to attract top talent that 51% of recruiters said their biggest investment this year was going to be working on their employer branding to attract top candidates. With all this in mind  – whether you’re actively job searching or just passively open to new opportunities you want to make sure your resume is ready when the right opportunity presents itself.
