I usually reserve our blog for informational purposes only. I typically only post articles with free tips on resume writing, cover letters and anything else job search related. Today, though I’m sharing some inside information about our company so just a forewarning if you’re not interested you can stop reading….now…. =)

We pride ourselves on providing a very personal and customized experience to our job seekers. I mean, the whole point of having someone write your resume is to stand out from the crowd, right? It wouldn’t make sense to write a resume that sounds just like every other Joe Public out there…you’d lose your competitive edge, cease to be different and where’s the value in that? How would a hiring manager tell the difference between you and someone else who does the same work as you?

That happens to be one of the main reasons we don’t use worksheets or questionnaires with our clients. Frankly, if you wanted to write the resume yourself you wouldn’t have hired us – so why torture you with hours worth of questions and lengthy worksheets to fill out – who has the time? That’s why we do things different, a simple phone consult and we can draw out the information we need to differentiate you from hundreds of others.
